They are certainly a thing. I have seen them. I even did a set once. It was just ok. CrossFitters often get a little fanatical about their thing. I get it. I love CrossFit. CrossFit feeds my children. And when I first started I thought it was the only thing that did anything. Even though folks have been doing other stuff and getting fitter for decades. They were all wrong. I was right. We were right. And we weren’t going to shut up until everyone knew it. But then I came back around and realized that some of that other stuff was good. Great even when applied in the right place at the right time. There isn’t one path. It took me a long time to realize it but I got here. Yoga, pilates, body building. I don’t care what your thing is as long as you have a thing. I think your thing PLUS this thing is a really powerful combination. I chose this thing for a lot of good reasons. I believe in this thing and I have seen it change lives. Lots of them. So let’s let folks do their thing, no matter what it is without criticism and invite them to try our thing and maybe we will win a few more folks to the cause. They can keep doing bicep curls though. I think it is the most important muscle in the body. After abs.
