We finally arrived at location for the primary purpose of our trip. We drove into Loskop late last night and we stayed at the home of JD and Barbara Borgman. They have been working to make the orphanage and the surrounding area a thriving community for almost ten years. They are an amazing couple and one of our main goals with the 5% project is to give them as many resources as we possibly can to continue their amazing work. This includes, money, physical labor, creativity, administrative, supplies, and anything else we can garner to serve these people. We are headed down to see the kids tomorrow. There have been moments on this trip where I was wondering if the time and money were worth it and it faded as soon as the Borgman’s started filling us in on what has happened since we were here last. So much has happened and yet so much is exactly the same. Time in Africa seems to move at a different pace than in the rest of the world.
