Practice makes permanent. We will achieve perfection in nothing in this life. So we can cut ourselves a lot of slack. In fact chasing perfection shouldn’t even be the goal. We don’t achieve long term success in any arena by nailing it one time. We achieve lasting success when we nail over and over and over. In and out of the gym we find we are faced with the same hard decisions over and over. Practicing the right move, or the right answer over and over is how we build patterns of success. 1,000 apologies to our spouse, 10, 000 snatches, 10,000,000 reminders to our children are the bricks that build the wall of respect in our relationships, speed and power in our sport, or discipline in our offspring.
